David Loughery, the screenwriter whose credit included the motion photos Dreamscape, Star Trek V: The Ultimate Frontier and the Wesley Snipes-starring Cash Prepare and Passenger 57, has died. He was 71.
Loughery died Tuesday of pores and skin most cancers in St. Petersburg, Florida, his pal Fred Rappaport advised The Hollywood Reporter.
Loughery collaborated with director Joseph Ruben on Dreamscape (1984), starring Dennis Quaid; The Good Son (1993), starring Macauley Culkin; Cash Prepare (1995), with Woody Harrelson alongside Snipes of their follow-up to White Males Can’t Soar; and Blindsided (2013), starring Michelle Monaghan and Michael Keaton.
