Don’t Expect New DISTURBED Music Anytime Soon

Disturbed vocalist David Draiman lately posted a photo of himself and the band within the studio, prompting everybody to get excited (or pre-irritated relying in your opinion on the band) about new Disturbed coming quickly. Besides that ain’t occurring.

Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan took to Instagram Dwell to let everybody know that sure, the band was within the studio; and no, there’s zero concrete plans to wrap up new materials and get it out into the world anytime quickly.

“[We’re] sort of engaged on some materials,” stated Donegan. “I am unable to actually say. There is no timeframe. I do know there was a put up earlier of us within the studio and that was simply us sort of getting the ball rolling. No deliberate date, so sorry to burst your bubble. I am not prematurely getting you too enthusiastic about it aside from we now have some downtime, so it was enjoyable to get collectively and get artistic for a second.

“Issues went wonderful, however we’re not planning on any launch any time quickly. It was simply a possibility to get in a room and get artistic once more. So [I’m] very, very enthusiastic about what we’re developing with, however there’s not gonna be a launch this 12 months, let me be clear on that.”

This all backs up Donegan‘s feedback in an April interview with Australia’s Everblack podcast that there have been no plans for a brand new Disturbed album but… however no less than we are able to all get excited a few potential Illness celebration, proper?

“[No plans for a new album] but,” stated Donegan. “We’re loosely speaking about it. Proper now, this entire previous 12 months to date, it is all been touring mode. That is all we have been targeted on, is the tour. However , we’re occupied with what we will do.

“We obtained large issues to consider, on if we will do a 25^th anniversary tour [for The Sickness] subsequent 12 months, and if we do a brand new album, are we going to document it this 12 months or the next 12 months? So we obtained loads on our plate. We obtained loads to only kind out and prioritize what we need to do first.”
