The Cupboard of Ministers of has accepted the plan for implementing the Maritime Safety Technique of Ukraine, developed by the Ministry of Protection.
Protection Minister Rustem Umerov shared this replace on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
“This is a crucial step in direction of strengthening our nation’s maritime safety. The doc goals to make sure the success of the duties and goals outlined within the Technique, which was accepted by the Nationwide Safety and Protection Council and enacted by a Presidential Decree,” Umerov said.
Based on Umerov, goals of the plan’s are:
– Enhancing the capabilities of Ukraine’s safety and protection sector, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Maritime Guard of the State Border Guard Service to counter aggression and deal with different maritime safety threats.
– Liberating quickly occupied coastal territories, inside waters, and Ukraine’s continental shelf.
– Securing compensation for losses inflicted by the aggressor and restoring maritime and river infrastructure broken through the conflict.
The Protection Minister expressed gratitude to everybody concerned in growing the doc.
As beforehand reported by Ukrinform, in July, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree enacting the NSDC’s determination on the brand new Maritime Safety Technique for Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Navy highlighted that the brand new technique addresses Ukraine’s pursuits past the Azov-Black Sea area.
