Along with Majel Barrett exhibiting up on Babylon 5, J. Michael Straczynski issued a private message to followers of his present and Star Trek, addressing the rising feud, primarily centered on Deep House 9. He stated, “As a result of it isn’t an both/or, sum/zero recreation…one can watch, and luxuriate in, Babylon 5 and Star Trek equally, for various causes, since their approaches are very completely different.”
And in describing what it was like behind the scenes, and away from the followers, he says, “The ironic factor is that there isn’t any drawback between those that make B5, and people who make ST..Jeri Taylor is a good friend, Majel helps the present, when ST does an episode with nice EFX we name them, after we do a superb one they name us…it’s nearly totally a matter of notion.”
