Yleisradio Oy (or the Finnish Broadcasting Firm) is now streaming a model new, six-part podcast collection referred to as The World’s Greatest Alexi Laiho. The podcast explores Laiho‘s insane guitar enjoying alongside his private struggles that sadly led to tragedy.
The World’s Greatest Alexi Laiho consists of interviews with Laiho‘s bandmates, household, and buddies, in addition to Laiho‘s guitar idols like Kerry King, Steve Vai, and Zakk Wylde. The podcast was initially launched in Finnish this previous June, however has now obtained an English translation that you can find right here.
Children Of Bodom was based by Laiho and drummer Jaska Raatikainen in 1993 as Inearthed. The band loved fairly a little bit of success through the years, sadly ending in 2019 with one final present on the Icehall in Helsinki named A Chapter Known as Youngsters of Bodom.
As a consequence of Raatikainen, bassist Henkka Seppälä, and keyboardist Janne Wirman proudly owning the Children Of Bodom title, Laiho carried on as Bodom After Midnight with a brand new lineup.
