The Mosaic Window – the perfect goddamn melodic, blackened loss of life steel band you are about to find this 12 months – is now streaming their new document Hemasanctum. The document largely options multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Andrew Steven Brown exhibiting everybody the way it’s completed alongside drummer Gabe Seeber (Abigail Williams, Vale Of Pnath, and so on.) and two visitor guitar solos from Andy LaRocque of King Diamond fame.
“Hemasanctum is an idea album that explores my present ideas on life, relationships (parent-child), and loss. Whereas it could or will not be apparent, the album begins with a tune about beginning and ends with a tune about loss of life. In between are songs deliberately out of order (just like the roller-coaster timeline all of us expertise) subtly referring to subjects like self-awareness, psychological well being, abortion, faith, and grief.
“This album is the primary Mosaic Window document to characteristic an actual drummer – Gabe Seeber of Abigail Williams, Vale of Pnath, Obscura (stay), Decrepit Delivery (stay), Carach Angren (stay), and lots of extra. Moreover, I’m nonetheless in awe that there are two visitor solos from the legendary (and probably my favourite) guitarist Andy LaRocque. Each Andy and Gabe completely nailed their elements, and I could not be extra elated for his or her presence on the document.
“Hemasanctum was written and recorded between October 2023 – February 2024 at my dwelling studio, and blended by Damian Herring over the Summer time of 2024. I’m so pleased with this album, and hope listeners can respect it too. Cheers!”
Hemasanctum is out November 15. Pre-orders are available here via Willowtip and here on Bandcamp.
