Blair’s The Poisonous Avenger follows the story of Winston Gooze (Peter Dinklage), a meek and powerless janitor who’s down on his luck, particularly after being recognized with a terminal sickness. Determined and out of choices to pay for his life-saving but very costly therapy, Gooze pleads along with his grasping and power-hungry bosses at Garb-X, a well being membership run by Bob (Kevin Bacon) and Fitz Garbinger (Elijah Wood). After his heartfelt plea is rejected, Gooze makes an attempt one last-ditch effort to gather sufficient cash to afford the therapy… he tries to rob Garb-X.
However Gooze’s plan goes horribly awry when he falls into a bathtub of poisonous waste, which transforms the lowly janitor right into a deformed and highly effective creature with superhuman power. After surviving the incident, Gooze takes on the persona of the Poisonous Avenger, a mutant that vows to tackle the evil folks of the world and shield the harmless and exploited, all whereas taking revenge on the individuals who wronged him in his previous life.
