In case you want one thing further sludgy to decelerate your day, try this new Pohl single! We’re stoked to stream Pohl‘s newest monitor “The Whale” (alongside a video by Benji Wilson) from their debut album Mysteries, due out on July 26 through Incorrect Velocity Data.
“I suppose you may say that ‘Mysteries’ is an album about grief,” stated guitarist and vocalist Will Pearce. “How we stay with grief, and the way we overcome it. If you’re trapped within the stomach of the beast, and all appears misplaced – how do you come again from that? All I can say is that generally you eat the whale, and generally the whale eats you.”
Mysteries was recorded on the band’s personal Cool World studio and combined by serial collaborator and producer Wayne Adams. Pre-orders are available here.
