With a mixture of Cheers facet characters and new characters, the solid of The Tortellis is cut up between acquainted faces for followers of the unique present and new actors. Dan Hedaya, Jean Kasem, Timothy Williams, and Mandy Ingber returned as their respective Cheers characters. The newcomers taking part in Loretta’s household had been Charlene Watkins and baby actor Aaron Moffatt.
Each character in The Tortellis are broad stereotypes they hardly ever rise above. Nick is a sleazy con artist attempting to go straight, Loretta is a ditzy blond, Anthony is an fool, Charlotte is a high-strung skilled girl, and Annie is a snarky teen daughter-in-law. Whereas I’d loved a few of these characters as friends on Cheers, they lacked the depth to hold even a primary household sitcom.
