The ultimate movie within the Star Wars sequel trilogy is filled with dialogue, a few of it stupider than we ever imagined potential (by some means, terrible writing returned). How, then, would doing scenes with no dialogue even work? In accordance with Ridley, Abrams “would ask us to do the scene with out talking, simply to really feel the emotional… no matter.”
Because it seems, “no matter” is an effective summation of this train as a result of the varied Rise of Skywalker actors who tried to do that finally realized what a joke it actually was. “It grew to become a joke,” Ridley stated, “as a result of we might simply moist ourselves laughing.” Abrams’ directions would so reliably result in silliness on set that Ridley instructed the director, “It’s important to do a bloopers reel.”
